Local School Boards Should be Held Accountable
Recently members of the NAACP plus Utah Parents United went before a board to talk about the abuses that some local school boards are doing. There are members of some boards that are not being ethical when it comes to their positions on the school board. All school boards should be ethical! We require all staff and teachers within our schools to be held accountable for their behavior. So, should the school board. I think some members of local school boards become too powerful or think they have too much power that they behave in a way that is not okay. All board members of any school board should adhere to ethical standards. It is disgraceful to hear of such misconduct with any member of any school board. It is good to hear that no one should get away with this type of behavior. These people that are on our local school boards represent us in the community. If school boards are not following the laws of ethics then they need to be removed!
If I am elected I would adhere and maintain ethics to my position on the board! It would a pleasure to serve Magna and West Valley City as their representative on Granite School Board Precinct 7.
